Our highest priority at Tofield Eyecare is the health and wellbeing of our patients, staff, families and the community as a whole. In following with public health guidelines:
Our office is closed to routine eyecare during the pandemic.
Tofield Eyecare IS available via phone, text, facebook, website for all your eyecare questions and concerns.
Visits to our office are available for any urgent eyecare needs.
We will open again as things permit for routine eyecare.
We will have staff members available to answer our phones:
Monday - Thursday: 11am to 4pm
Friday: 9am to 1pm
Sat: Dr Kallal on call
If you have an eye emergency please do not visit the local ER or your doctors office. You can call our office @ 780-662-0104 and Dr Kallal will triage your concern and determine best plan of action. If a visit to our office is necessary he will see you. All medically necessary visits to our office are covered by Alberta Health.
Recent Glasses orders:
We are working hard to get all recent glasses orders to patients. We will contact you on when they are ready and arrange a pick up appointment (to decrease the number of people in our office at one time).
If you have broken or lost your glasses:
Please contact our office at 780-662-0104. We are seeing patients by appointment, on a case by case basis to ensure they get the vision care they need.
Contact lens orders:
You can still order contacts through us #support local and we can mail directly to you or arrange for curbside pick up.
If you need to contact Dr Kallal directly his cell number is 587-991-8957 or email email@example.com.
Contact him any time.
Stay safe, stay healthy and please practice social distancing.

TOFIELD EYECARE COVID POLICY
Everyone needs to do their part when it comes to social distancing. We have implemented social distancing for all our team members. Our optometrists will will be limited to seeing two patients per hour which will allow further social distancing and implementation of our increased cleaning standards.
We have always maintained the highest cleaning standards at our office by cleaning the pretest and exam rooms before and after each patient. We are now even more diligent with this. We are cleaning all high touch areas with 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes every hour and continue to clean all testing equipment after each patient use. All doctors and staff continue to wash or sanitize their hands before and after every patient encounter.
We are wiping the credit card machine with lysol wipes after each use and have removed all magazines, toys and coffee from our waiting area. Bottled water is still available to those who need it.
Any glasses that are tried on are wiped down with lysol wipes before being put back on display. We have sinks for patients to use when they arrive at our office as well as hand sanitizer and soap.
Any of our staff that do not feel well are asked to stay home. We would also ask this of our patients. Anyone who is not feeling well please stay home and if you have travelled please follow the guidelines set by Alberta health: LINK HERE
